For the border I am planning to use bunny ears and tails. I suspect that the plaid bunnies will stay in formation if they are surrounded by disembodied bunny parts.  Kittens, of course, wouldn't care because that's their life work.

Typhoon would like me to quit saying that he is "underfoot" because clearly he is over my foot. For a cat constantly in fear for his safety, this is one time that his concerns would be valid.

Love your border idea - must check out the bunnies just in case any of them missing the odd tail or ear!
Beautiful Typhoon - he has such lovely expressions!

Oh, I really love that border! Perfect!
With a cat underfoot (or rather, overfoot) I'm always afraid I'll end up in a Cat Dance. You know, where you step on the cat's tail and you hop to the other foot, but the cat has panicked and is now directly in the path of that foot and you step on it again, and repeat and repeat and repeat, with choruses of "Rarrr!!!" and "Ack!!!" for accompaniment. I hate the Cat Dance...

Great idea and so fitting. I've been fascinated with your bunny quilt and who knows but maybe one day. Anyway not holding my breath. But I do so like it and especially with the plaids.

I can't wait to see the finished bunny quilt. With you (and Cathy L) doing bunnies this year, that means the rest of us will be doing them this year. My cats seem to manage staying away from our feet. But Darla did "help" me baste the cityscape wall hanging today. She laid on it to make sure it wouldn't fly away.

I'm going to have to remember your trick for borders. I thought the cat parts on the cat quilt was perfect and now the bunny parts on the bunny quilt is too. You haven't forgotten rainbow bunnies I hope! But the plaid ones have my heart.
